Dr Daniel Bierenkrant – BDSc, DCD (Melb), MRACDS (Endo)
Dr Daniel Bierenkrant is a highly experienced endodontist with more than 13 years of experience in dentistry. Having obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science in 1998, followed by his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics in 2007 from the University of Melbourne.
Daniel has been working at Malvern Endodontics since 2007. Daniel is an Honorary Fellow at both the University of Melbourne where he teaches Undergraduate and Post-graduate students.
He is a Member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys running marathons and ultra marathons and spending time with his wife & three children.

Dr Ilya Belobrov is a registered specialist endodontist having completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 2004. Ilya then worked in a community dental clinic on the Sunshine Coast and subsequently for 4 years in a private general dental practice in Melbourne, before completing his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry, in Endodontics, at The University of Melbourne in 2011. Ilya has been a part of Malvern Endodontics since completing his specialist training.
Ilya is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, Australian Society of Endodontics and the Australian Dental Association. Ilya has published several scientific papers in both Australian and International dental and Endodontic journals. Ilya lectures and demonstrates to both general dentistry students and endodontic specialists in training at The University of Melbourne.
An avid traveller, Ilya enjoys cooking when he can find the time. Away from work, he’s often kept busy by his family, including his two young girls. To keep fit, Ilya rotates between running and cycling. He is also a passionate Manchester United Supporter.

Dr Theo Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from The University of Melbourne in 2004, after which he then completed the graduate dentist program at the Goulburn Valley Health (GVH) in Shepparton in 2005. Theo returned to Melbourne the following year and worked in private practice from 2006-2012, while at the same time he was involved in teaching dental students at the Melbourne Dental School and GVH.
In 2013, Theo returned to The University of Melbourne for his endodontic specialist training and graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics in 2015.
Theo’s interests outside of endodontics include athletics, painting and illustration. Theo is also an avid tennis player and as a member of the Sports and Social Committee, organises the annual ADAVB Tennis Day.

Dr Francis Chan – BDSc (Hons), DCD (Endo) Melb, FRACDS (GDP)
Dr Francis Chan complete his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2013. During his studies he was awarded the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) prize for the highest aggregate clinical marks. He passed his RACDS primaries examination where he achieved the highest marks in Microbiology and has subsequently attained RACDS Fellowship.
Francis is involved with teaching Doctor of Dental Surgery students at the University of Melbourne and has been with our team since February 2020. He is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontics and the Australian Dental Association.
Outside of endodontics, he is an avid fan of stand-up comedy and enjoys learning about history and science.

Hitesh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from The University of Melbourne in 2007. After excelling in the Primary examinations with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) in 2012, he gained his fellowship with the RACDS in 2014.
Hitesh Graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) in the discipline of Endodontics in 2017 from the University of Otago, New Zealand where he received scholarships for his academic proficiency. In 2017, he also became a Member of the RACDS in the discipline of Endodontics.
Hitesh has been extensively involved in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students since 2013, both locally and internationally. He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Endodontology and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists.
In his spare time, Hitesh follows tennis ardently. Additionally, he enjoys fine dining and is an avid traveller.
